What happens if you take the sound of a gushing fountain …

and then slice and filter that sound in a virtual modular synth ...

then use THAT sound to create a twitching video of the original fountain?

This little experiment connects two playful workflows:

⛲️ Part 2: An audio-reactive animated fountain in TouchDesigner

If you watch the YT video:

You can see the VCV modular on the left, creating the sound you hear

The TouchDesigner network is on the right, which is creating ...

The final video, which you see in the middle of the screen.

The audio driving the movement is generated from the VCV Rack patch,

so the two experiments form one strange little ecosystem.
